Terms and Conditions
- HKT Care EasyShare 60-day Travel Insurance Package (the “Package”) is only applicable to CSL and 1O1O individual customer (the “Customer”) aged 18 years or above and holds a valid Hong Kong identity card (the “Contract”). The Customer can use the Package to redeem the 60-day travel insurance (the “Service”) during the Contract Period.
- The contract period of the Service is 24 months starting from the Service Effective Date (the “Contract Period”) in this Customer Information Form (the “Form”). The Service cannot be cancelled before the Contract End Date.
- The Service will automatically terminate when the Contract Period expires. In the event of early termination of the Contract, CSL Mobile Limited as the billing agent of HKT Financial Services (IA) Limited (“HKTIA”), reserves the right to collect the remaining fee of the Service for and on behalf of HKTIA. FWD General Insurance Company Limited (“FWDGI”), being the insurer of the Service, may deduct the unpaid premium from your insurance’s claim payout (if any). HKTIA will receive commissions from FWDGI for marketing FWDGI’s travel insurance under the Service.
- Each mobile phone number can apply for a maximum of two (2) packages of the Service at the same time.
- You must activate the Service and select a primary traveler in order to enjoy the Service through the designated online platform within 30 days from the Service Effective Date.
- The primary traveler cannot be changed during the Contract Period.
- The number of travel insurance days included in the Service can only be redeemed during the Contract Period. Each redemption must include the primary traveler in each trip when using the Service. Upon expiration of the Contract Period, the remaining balance of travel insurance days not being used will be forfeited and no compensation will be provided.
- Before travelling, you must register the trip and provide all traveler(s)’ information as stipulated in the designated online platform in order to enjoy the Service for that particular trip. You must indicate the first and last dates of the travel insurance coverage period, based on the local Hong Kong date and time. Your departure from Hong Kong should be on the first day of the travel insurance coverage period. No subsequent change of the travel insurance coverage period is allowed. If the remaining balance of travel insurance day is not enough to cover the whole trip, you may purchase an additional travel insurance coverage according to the premium provided at that time.
- The travel insurance provided under the Service is underwritten by FWDGI and is subject to its relevant terms and conditions. For details, please refer to the insurance policy issued by FWDGI. FWDGI reserves the final decision on the approval of the insurance application and claim.
- By signing the respective Form, you agree that HKTIA will act as your insurance agent to arrange for the Service and provide related after-sales service to you. For enquiries, please call HKT Care Customer Service Hotline at 8209-0098.
- In the event of any disputes, the decision of HKTIA and FWDGI shall be final and conclusive. HKTIA and FWDGI reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
- In the event of any discrepancies between the Chinese and English versions of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.
HKT Financial Services (IA) Limited (“HKTIA”) is a wholly owned subsidiary of HKT Limited (HKT Limited is a company incorporated in the Cayman Islands with limited liability), offers a wide range of life insurance and general insurance products under the brand of HKT Care. HKTIA is a licensed insurance agency in Hong Kong and regulated by the Insurance Authority of Hong Kong (Licensed insurance Agency License No. FA2474). HKTIA is an authorized insurance distributor of FWD General Insurance Company Limited.
